Daily Tip
Daily Tip: Although wildflowers in our mountains are beautiful, if you want to achieve a successful Rocky Mountain garden, it’s good to know the flowers in the high country are cool root plants that don’t thrive in the Denver-metro area. If you want to grow Columbine (our state flower), lupine, liatris, bluebells, etc., it’s best to plant them in a cool area, such as a north or east side of your yard.
