Landscaping Tips

Daily Tip: With these unusually high temperatures, you may see your plants starting to leaf out early. This can be a problem because if we get a cold snap and temperatures dip below freezing, leaves can die due to frost damage. However, Mother Nature blessed plants with axillary buds which will grow if the main leaf (terminal bud) is weakened. Your plant will get a second chance but if it has already set its flowering buds, such as fruit trees, you may not get a crop this year, but thankfully your plant is okay. Patience is key with Colorado gardening. If you have any questions, please contact us at 720-924-1010.
