Daily Tip
Daily Tip: If you didn’t aerate in Fall or you aerate twice a year, now is a good time to aerate for Spring. Aerating pokes holes in the ground to allow moisture, oxygen and nutrients (if you fertilize) to get to grass roots and prevent thatch. Thatch is a buildup of sod over time that not only adds height to your grass but your soil becomes like a brick preventing water, oxygen and nutrients to get to the roots. The result is crabgrass, weeds and dead sod. If you have any questions or would like to schedule an aeration appointment, please contact us at 720-924-1010.
